Role Purpose

 

Plan, maintain, execute, and manage assigned projects to ensure Wireless charging projects and business improvement activities are delivered on time to customer expectations.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Motivate and focus the wireless charging product development team to deliver wireless charging projects, on time to customer expectations, in an Agile PM environment

  • Act as a key interface between engineering, operations, quality, suppliers, and customers with respect to project planning, timing, and deliverables.

  • Plan and execute accurate project plans and budgets:

  • Work with all project stakeholders to establish an accurate and feasible plan.

  • Identify and maintain project budgets including BOM costs, ED&D, etc.

  • Drive an APQP mindset and pursue stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.

  • Maintain an accurate project plan throughout the life of the project(s).

  • Ensure project timing and open issues are effectively tracked, communicated and reviewed using the IBM ELM toolset.

  • Organise and chair project management meetings

  • Distribute meeting minutes after project meetings and update management team on project status as required.

  • Identify improvements and drive initiatives on company process and procedural updates

  • Take ownership and execute all program management activities while identifying any gaps and methods to close them.

  • Throughout the project and at project completion ensure all documentation is in place, completed and communicated.



Key Skill Sets

  • Superior organisational, negotiation and motivational skills

  • Technical skills across multiple disciplines including product development, electrical engineering (RF, hardware, software, wiring), mechanical design (plastics, metals), supplier management, manufacturing, and quality systems.

  • Able to facilitate customer discussion on wireless power charging systems, leveraging the team as needed

  • Experience with automotive product development and quality processes

  • Knowledge of IBM ELM toolset in an Agile PM environment (desirable)

  • Knowledge and experience in CMMI advantageous

  • Bachelor, or higher, degree in a technical discipline; preferably electrical, electronic or mechatronics

  • Formal PM qualification, for example, PMP
