Role Purpose

 

Responsible for the design, integration and testing of Wireless Electric Vehicle Charging hardware systems to meet internal and customer requirements.

  • Abide by all occupational health and safety, and environmental requirements of Lumen ensuring all systems & procedures relating to SAFETY are adhered to.

  • General duties as directed by management.



Principal Accountabilities

  • Broad design of data acquisition systems capability and low noise embedded electronics. 

  • Provide your expertise in designing FPGA’s, microcontroller and microprocessor based embedded electronic PCB assemblies.

  • Follow the defined hardware design processes for schematic captures (Altium), circuit calculations, component selections, PCB layouts, design EMC and documentation requirements. 

  • Perform system level hardware design and documentation using defined toolsets.

  • Conduct and participate in PCB assembly design reviews.

  • Create and execute component and system level DVPR test plans.

  • Write and review test reports for tests that are conducted.

  • Support the integration of both hardware and software systems.



Key Skill Sets

  • Bachelor degree or similar qualification in Electronics Engineering.

  • Demonstratable Experience in PCB design

  • Ability to work autonomously while leveraging the team environment to ensure optimal product design outcomes.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritise workloads to complete tasks within time constraints.

  • High attention to detail.
